Cookie Policy

What cookies and local storage Chordize AI uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.

Plain-language summary: Chordize AI uses a small number of cookies and browser-storage entries to sign you in, keep your session safe, remember your settings, and prevent abuse. Optional account coordinates are not stored in cookies or browser storage. With your permission, we also use Google Ads and ChatGPT Ads conversion measurement to understand whether our ads lead to paid wallet top-ups. Advertising measurement is off by default and requires your separate cookie choice. We configure it without ad personalization or enhanced conversions.

1. What are cookies and similar technologies?

A "cookie" is a small text file that a website stores on your browser. "Local storage" and "session storage" are similar mechanisms used by modern web apps to keep small amounts of data on your device. In this policy we refer to all of these as "cookies" for simplicity.

Chordize AI uses cookies to sign you in, secure the Service, remember your settings, and prevent abuse. Our Google Ads and ChatGPT Ads integrations measure advertising results. Google enhanced conversions remain disabled. ChatGPT Ads uses server-only reporting without contact information or the OpenAI browser Pixel. We opt out of ad personalization.

2. Categories of cookies we use

4. How to manage cookies

You can control cookies in the following ways:

5. "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals

We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a choice to disable advertising measurement, even if you previously accepted it. You may also disable it in Cookie settings. We stop new conversion events and remove our stored ChatGPT ad-click reference and request deletion of our first-party Google and legacy OpenAI measurement cookies when you withdraw this choice. Browser controls can remove any remaining third-party cookies.

6. Third-party services

Some cookies may be set by third-party services we use to run the Service, including Cloudflare (anti-abuse) and Stripe (payments). These services set their own cookies subject to their own privacy notices, linked above.

7. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the website with a new effective date. If material cookies change, we may re-prompt the cookie banner or notify you inside the Service.
